Families, it is flu season. It is imperative that you DO NOT send your children to school unless they have been fever free (less than 100 degrees) for a full 24 hours WITHOUT the help of medication. If you give your children Tylenol and their fever breaks, that doesn't mean they should come back to school. Once the Tylenol wears off, their fevers can rise again, and not only will we send them back home, but they can infect other students. So please make sure they a fever free without the help of medication for a full 24 hours before sending them to school. This ensures their health and well-being as well as that of others. We are doing our part in cleaning door handles, light switches, desktops, tabletops, keyboards, and trackpads. Please remind your children to wash their hands with soap and water before eating or using a computer. We are reminding them here at school, as well.
Next week we will be concluding MAP testing. Also, remember that dismissal next Friday is at 3:15 to begin the winter recess.
Remember to click the "Common Core Tips" button at the top right corner of this page to see some ongoing tips on how you can help your children at home. I will try to post a new tip each week. To start, I am focusing on math.
